Device status dashboard
To effectively manage and monitor the devices in your account, it is essential to understand the various indicators that provide you with key information about the connection status of each device. Here's how to interpret these indicators in a simple way:
Device Status Indicators
1. LED
- Blue Circle: If the circle next to the device is blue, this means that the LED indicator on MICA is on. In this case, the LED shows the ventilation efficiency traffic light, providing a real-time display of the fan performance.
- Gray Circle: If the circle is gray, the LED on MICA is not illuminated, indicating that the device is not displaying the ventilation efficiency indicator light.
2. Signal
- Connection Status: This indicator shows whether the device is correctly connected to the network.
- Signal Strength: In addition, it informs you about the strength of the signal received by the device, allowing you to evaluate the quality of the connection.
3. Connectivity
- Connectivity Type: This indicates the default connectivity type that the device is using, whether it is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular network, etc. This is useful for troubleshooting connection problems and ensuring that the device is using the proper method for your network.
4. Periodicity
- Data Upload Interval: Shows how often data is sent from MICA to your account. This interval can be configured according to your needs to ensure that data is uploaded at the desired frequency.
5. Last Update
- Date and Time: Here you will find the date and time of the last data upload from the device. This helps you to verify if the device is updating the data correctly and as often as expected.
6. Serial Number
- Device ID: The serial number is a unique identification assigned to each device. This data is useful for inventory management and for troubleshooting any device-specific problems.
Understanding these metrics will allow you to manage your devices more efficiently and resolve connectivity issues faster. Be sure to review this data regularly to keep your devices operational and optimized.
