Installation in electrical box

The ideal height to install the MICA on the wall is between 120 and 180 centimeters.

  1. Place ferrules on the power cable.

  1. Connect the power cable to the male power terminal (2 pins) provided.

If you use direct current (8 - 36V DC), respect the order of the inputs (V - GND).

  1. Prepare 2 screws in the electrical box.

If your model has Cellular IoT (NB-IoT/LTE), Sigfox, LoRaWan or GSM connectivity, screw the antenna into the back cover before placing it on the wall.

  1. Route the cables through the entry on the back cover of the housing.

  1. Insert the electrical box screws through the mounting holes in the housing cover. Rotate the housing so that it is straight and tighten the screws.
Tighten the screws after the housing has been placed in the electrical box.
  1. With the back cover of the housing fixed to the wall, connect the male power terminal to the female terminal on the PCB.

If your model is to communicate via Modbus RTU, also connect the male Modbus terminal to the female Modbus terminal on the PCB.

If your model has Cellular IoT (NB-IoT/LTE), Sigfox, LoRaWan or GSM connectivity, remember that you will need to connect the indoor antenna connector cable.

  1. To close the MICA, align the assembly guides with the assembly hooks (with the housing tilted) and close the lid.

  1. Secure the cover with the two lower assembly screws.

Ensure that the device is properly secured so that it does not cause damage if it falls on someone or something.
